Arvie does EXACTLY what it claims to do. It is like a trained mongoose, watching the hole where the snake might reappear, ready to pounce when the opportunity arises.
While there is no guarantee that you'll get the reservation you desire, I can not think of a better way to accomplish your goal than the process Arvie provides, and for a reasonable fee.
That said, Arvie's interface does leave a lot to be desired. I've written consumer software for several decades, and I know how difficult it can be to make "a concept" into a human interface. I was planning a camping trip to the Outer Banks in late March but the predicted rain and wind would have made the trip miserable, so I needed to find an available campsite in Florida instead at the last minute (near impossible). I tried to find something myself, but came up empty. I knew about Arvie but had not yet joined, so I figured this would be a good time to test it out. I signed up, inputted the desirable camping spots, and put them on a  wait list. The next day, I get a email from Arvie saying that they reserved a campsite for me! Arvie takes all of the legwork out of it, I am a believer!
P.S., I initially had some technical difficulty with the site, called Arvie and they were extremely helpful and responsive. Turns out the network filters at work blocked some of the pop-up features of the website, works perfectly fine at home. Lesson learned: don't use work computers for fun!

I have used Arvie a few time not and they have come through for me every time. Most recently using the auto book service they have booked Black Rock Mountain State Camp Ground during prime leaf viewing time. I was very skeptical at first. But after it automatically booked 2 highly sought after reservations, I’m sold. My wife and I had already come to terms with never being able to get in to these campgrounds. We listened to all the tips given by people (waking up at the crack of dawn or specific hours) and we just said to heck with it. We are sold on Arvie. I hesitate to leave this review as I don't want too many others to be able to take advantage of the incredible service that Arvie provides, but it has been so good for us that I feel compelled to write a little something. Arvie's interface is clean and easy to navigate, it collects so many different camping options in one place, and it allows you to stay on one site and take care of all the booking info in one place. If that was all it did it would have earned the five stars.

However, the best part of Arvie is the Sold Out Search function. I have now received texts while hiking, while in a meeting, while driving, and even in the early morning or late evening letting me know that my campsite reservation was made for me. No morry constantly refreshing websites hoping to get lucky enough to find a cancellation, I just plug in what I want and let Arvie do the work. It has been a godsend on our year long adventure, especially in some of the most sought after places that we've been trying to book.

I tried Arvie on a trial basis & loved the service. I will recommend them to all my family and friends. Not only is the product/service  lightening-fast, but Arvie’s Customer Service staff responds even more rapidly than their magical algorithm that finds coveted cancellations at popular & beautiful places and immediately alerts or books them on their customer’s behalf (you choose!).
I want to make the most of our travel time and Arvie can help my family to do that.
During our Free trial Arvie found a spot in Florida during peak time, at a gorgeous place, beside a clear spring with pristine waters at constant 72-degrees, on the days I’d hoped for—what?! Mid-winter water sports (snorkel, paddle), here we come! That’s when I knew full membership would be worth paying for. That’s when I ran into a problem (of my own making) I’d entered some info incorrectly on the web form, but — not only did the customer service team correct the problem, refreshingly, they fixed it within minutes of me sending an email. Arvie makes the most of technology, for sure! But also, when it comes to customer assistance, Arvie excels at both tech AND the human touch. That’s as rare as snagging a week in the Florida Keys.

Wow! We were able to book 3 nights inside Joshua Tree National Park through Arvie about a week in advance. Then once we got there we loved it and wanted to stay longer. So we did an SOS (sold out search) through Arvie and within a few hours it booked us the spot two down from where we were at and we were able to spend a whole week inside the park last minute! Excited to see where else Arvie takes us.
